Brian Pogel

Coach Pogel is a graduate of Mercyhurst University where he was a three year starter at 149 pounds. Brian had a very successful career at Mercyhurst that was unfortunately shortened due to several shoulder surgeries. He was the East Region Champion in 2008 where he received his first bid to nationals and was one match away from All- American. Brian was ranked as high as 3rd in the country in 2007. In high-school, Brian wrestled at Hampton, and was pulled up to varsity as a freshman, where he had an extremely successful career placing 6th in PIAA AAA State Championships and a record of 133 - 23.

Gordan Bieber

Gordan graduate from Waynesburg in April of 2017 with his Bachelors degree in psychology. He was a 4 year starter at WU 125/133 and was nationally ranked as high as 10th in 3 of the 4 years he competed in D3 NCAA. Gordan attended Slippery Rock high school where he graduated as a 4 year starter/letter earner .In 2011 he wrestled for Team PA to compete in the Freestyle and Greco Roman national tournament held in Fargo North Dakota. He has also been coaching for the past 3 years with clubs (since 2014 Toss, Rob Wallers All -American trained, Tom Tomeo T3, and Prodigy) He was the 2016-2017 Assistant coach of Waynesburg junior high and they were the regional Champions that year. Gordan loves the sport of wrestling has a dedicated passion for helping others fall in love with the sport as well.
